Kottivakkam Campus: We have a separate Pre-Primary campus named Shraddha Little Champs, Kottivakkam (Plot No. 12 & 13, Raja Street, Valmiki Nagar, Kalyani Nagar, Kottivakkam, Chennai – 600041). Transport
- Safety is a two-way street. Here is the standard rule for motorists:
- Two-lane road: Vehicles in both directions must stop when red lights flash and the stop arm is extended.
- Multi-lane road (with a median): Only traffic following the bus must stop.
- Multi-lane road (no median): All lanes must stop.
- The Danger Zone is the area within 10 feet of the bus in any direction. This is where it is most difficult for the driver to see a student.
- Pro Tip: Always cross at least 10 feet (about five giant steps) in front of the bus, never behind it.
Think of the bus as a "moving classroom." Key rules usually include:
- Staying seated and facing forward.
- Keeping the aisle clear of backpacks.
- Using "inside voices" so the driver isn't distracted.
- Keeping hands and heads inside the windows at all times.
- For Kindergarten and early elementary students, drivers & Attender’s are typically instructed not to release the child unless a parent or designated guardian is visible.
- If no one is there, the child will remain on the bus and be returned to the school for pickup by the Parents.
- The bus driver’s primary job is to operate the vehicle safely, So we have our Attender’s they do monitor behaviour.
- Most buses are equipped with internal cameras to record audio and video.
- Incidents should be reported to the school administration, who will review the footage and take disciplinary action.
